Avalanche is an early main crop variety with a bright slightly russeted white skin with shallow eyes. The flesh colour is a rich cream with a maturity mid-season. The russet skin helps protects the potato from bruising, providing an excellent shelf-life. Tubers are numerous and of even size that are produced directly beneath the plant, deep in the ground, resulting in reduced incidence of greening and tuber moth damage.
The principal culinary use of Avalanche is as a boiling potato for the fresh market. The texture is waxy and does not disintegrate when boiled. There is no after cooking blackening. The flavour is distinctive, reminiscent of new potatoes in times past. Freshly harvested, Avalanche is excellent for home fries.
Paramount is a very high yielding red skin white flesh main crop variety producing large even sized tubers. Paramount has a high resistance to gangrene. Paramount is suitable for boiling, baking and packing. The plant is of medium height, semi erect, with an intense local colour on the stem. The flowers are numerous and white in colour, with the tuber round-oval in shape with shallow eyes.

Abalone: One of our new white skin varieties. That has consistently produced high yields in our breeding program. It has a shiny white smooth skin and cream white flesh. Abalone produces, large oval uniform tubers, averaging 17 - 20 per plant.
Rosemara is a high yielding red skin variety with a shiny skin and white cream flesh. It is a main crop with a growth period of between 95 - 100 days and a dry matter of 20%.
