Gasore

Gasore is a variety of Belgian origin and is controlled by CAMA sprl Soye Belgium. In association with Cama sprl Irish Potato Breeders is the selling agent. Gasore is a main-crop variety; it produces high numbers [20+] of bicoloured tubers. Tubers are oval and medium in size. The variety is ideal for salad production. Dry matter is in the range 19-22% and Gasore from the field makes excellent crisps. Gasore is unique being virtually resistant to foliage and tuber blight and is an ideal candidate for organic production.
